As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - SECOND SHIFT who will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards based on the Company policies and procedures.
- Train, coach and manage all Value-Added Assembly (VAA) associates in all work instructions, policies and procedures of the company.
- Evaluate employee performance and behavior with the goal of elevating performance and morale through best practices.
- Coordinate the successful labor allocation and the operation of plant equipment and systems to meet customer expectations in the quality and delivery of product.
- Cooperate with all supporting departments.
- Keep proper documentation and records
- Take corrective action with non-conforming processes, materials or behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Participate in in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives company’s Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
- This position requires the ability to work either first or second shift as needed with additional daily and Saturday work as required by the customer.
