Summary

The AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect role requires expertise in cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in creating, delivering, and managing Infrastructure Architecture solutions. This position contributes to the development of architecture standards and implements guidelines for reliable, flexible, and resilient IT solutions that meet business requirements and SLAs.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize two (2) or more years of working knowledge in a AWS Cloud Environment
- Demonstrate cloud networking skills, including WAN integration and networking peering.
- Identify and escalate complications to appropriate cloud top architects.
- Review past solutions related to business needs, engaging Infrastructure technology experts or
vendor support engineering teams to resolve advanced issues.
- Identify global IT infrastructure system standards and security policies with cloud deployments
and inform relevant stakeholders.
- Implement a variety of IT infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with Business Customers, IT Operations, Security, and Application teams to ensure
seamless project and solution delivery.
- Provide knowledgeable understanding of risks and capabilities of IT architecture options,
recommending solutions accordingly.
- Demonstrate expert understanding of system performance and behavior, making necessary
adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Work under supervision on complex issues, tracking both internal and external resources on
infrastructure projects.
- Implement prescriptive remediations for established solutions.
- Participate in training on operational procedures, technologies, and troubleshooting strategies.
- Adhere to all group-defined policies, standards, and guidelines in support of business
requirements and needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience in a similar position.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Infrastructure architecture, operations, and design.
- Preferably attended classes in technology disciplines (such as O365, Azure, AWS).
- Proficiency in managing a cloud environment, On-Premise Data Centers, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledgeable in IT operations, Security, disaster recovery, monitoring, optimization, and
troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Familiarity with Cloud and Data Center technologies (AWS, Azure, Automation (such as Terraform
or similar), Infrastructure as Code, SAN, NAS).
- Proficient in Core Infrastructure technologies (Azure AD, Active Directory, O365, Exchange Online,
OKTA, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File sharing, Window Server, Window workstation, IaaS, PaaS,
PowerShell scripting).
- Working knowledge of general IT technologies (such as SharePoint, Teams, DevOps, Containers,
Proofpoint, ZScaler, TCP/IP, Authentication concepts, Firewall, Agile development).
- Good understanding of cloud application architectures in a DevOps setting, web-based
application, or traditional client-server application
