Position Summary

Working within the R&D software team, the focus of this position is to perform software testing and help the team address issues in function, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and execute software test plans for unit, integration, and system testing.
• Document and work through technical issues using Jira.
• Participate in agile methodology for software development.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to solve problems.
• Participate in technical reviews of colleagues’ and team deliverables.

• Rising junior or rising senior in a university or college pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or similar
• Coding experience in C/C for embedded systems
• Exposure to preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems, mutexes, watchdog timers, etc. a plus
• Experience with ARM microprocessors and microcontrollers a plus
• Familiarity with C#/Python a plus; exposure to QML/Qt a plus
• Familiarity with agile methodology and Jira a plus
• Strong documentation and writing skills
• Strong motivation and curiosity to learn and solve engineering problems
