We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. If you are passionate about helping others and have a strong background in medical support, we encourage you to apply. Certification preferred but not required based on experience. EMS certification preferred.

```Responsibilities```

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments

- Prepare patients for procedures and obtain vital signs

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens

- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

```Experience```

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role

- Proficiency in medical coding and terminology

- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely

- Strong patient service skills, including active listening and empathy

- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 23 – 28 per week
