Inventory Support Specialist

Responsibilities
Maintain product identification and location in DSI / CI program.
Research inventory discrepancies.
Responsible for completing physical inventories / cycle counts and assist in reconciliations.
Report non-conforming / damaged inventory.
Review OH counts and Bin locations, correct as required.
Report count results and update DSI / CI daily.
Provide support to Planning Team regarding inventory issues with kits
Accurately conduct pre-production physical inventory according to schedule
Report pre-production physical inventory via doForms a minimum of 48 hours before production run.
Accurately conduct post-production physical inventory after each scheduled production run to reconcile inventory in preparation of future production runs.
Control the flow of and ordering raw materials from offsite warehouses to maintain production.
Other duties as required or assigned.
The experience we're looking for
Physical Requirements :
Ability to work any / all overtime hours
Must be able to stand and walk 8 or more hours per day (Average 5-10 miles per day)
Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the job
Will occasionally lift up to 35 pounds from floor to five feet level and team lift heavier items
Normal physical agility is a must
Expectations :
Begin and end your day at your desk at designated start times
Arrive everyday ready to work
Adhere to all safety and dress code policies
Clocking out is required if taking lunch outside of building
Complete all investigation requiring inventory counts
Follow through with your work
The skills for success
High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience is preferred
Minimum 18 years of age
Knowledge of JDE or other ERP system preferred
Basic computer abilities, Excel, and math skills required
Ability to perform the job in a safe manner
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
Must be dependable
Attention to detail is essential
Desire to learn new functions and processes
Be open to change and cross-training
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
Must be able to pass the scissor lift / manlift and forklift certification test and be able to drive a scissor lift / manlift and forklift daily
