Recap is Hiring a Director of Facilities Near Middletown, NY
RECAP, a community-focused organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Facilities to lead our Facilities department and laborer crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of properties owned/managed by RECAP, as well as the implementation of specific measures assigned by the Weatherization program. This role also includes administrative responsibilities associated with the management of RECAP properties. Responsibilities
- Oversee the Facilities department and supervise the laborer crew.
- Manage a diverse staff which includes a Crew Chief, Crew Laborers, and administrative assistants.
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of properties owned/managed by RECAP.
- Implement specific measures assigned by the Weatherization program.
- Handle administrative responsibilities associated with the management of RECAP properties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and property management.
- 5 years of progressive, supervisory experience in a building maintenance, Weatherization or Energy Conservation setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bi-Lingual candidates are preferred.
