We have desirable hours (Monday thru Friday 8:30a-5:00p) and we are conveniently located in the Research Triangle Park in Morrisville, NC.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, full-time, certified pharmacy technician who is looking for growth in the pharmacy field. A minimum of 1-year experience is required.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Receive and verify prescriptions

• Ensure correct medication preparation according to the prescription

• Maintain all documentation in accordance with established policies/procedures

• Respond to patient/facility inquiries as necessary

• Operate dispensing pharmacy software

• Completing daily refill calls/scheduling deliveries to patients

• Perform simple calculations, measurements, and conversions

• Provide optimal patient care and customer service

• Package shipments in accordance with established procedures

• Communicate with physician offices and insurance companies

• Ensure all equipment areas are cleaned daily and operating appropriately Certified pharmacy technician required for job consideration. Job Type: Full-time

• Additional Qualities desired for employment: attention to detail, critical thinking/analysis skills, knowledge of prescription insurance, ability to communicate effectively over the phone, fluent in Microsoft Word & Excel.
