Randstad Healthcare is hiring Certified Pharmacy Techs for a reputable facility in Cary, NC This will be a 13 week assignment to start w/ the opportunity to extend or go perm! This is a hybrid role, working from home a few days a week.

Responsible for performing intake and Rx Setup (facilitating the processing of prescriptions) activities, and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures to assist in the flow of dispensing drugs to the patient.

Job details:

• · Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received
• Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient
• Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing
• Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing information, or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
• Updating concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral
• Enter new provider information (i.e., National Provider Identifier) accurately into the system so that the Business Intelligence group can complete their reporting

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Healthcare experience/2 years pharmacy experience preferred
• Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required; must be current, without restrictions
• Data Entry
• Experience obtaining new prescriptions from prescribers for patients
• Prior experience working in a Pharmacy setting required
• Effective communicator

Schedule : 9-6

Pay Rate: 20/hr-23/hr
