Reality of Hope CES is Hiring a Mental Health Counselor Near Akron, OH

Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and a passion for helping others overcome mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients through individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.

Reality of Hope CES is a leading provider of mental health services dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. We are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to help clients achieve their mental health goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities.

Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment approaches.

Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops on various mental health topics.

Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, prioritizing client safety and well-being.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Participate in ongoing professional development activities and clinical supervision to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling or Social Work.

Licensure or certification as an LPC, LPCC.

Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse populations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with team members.

Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
