JOB SUMMARY

This position performs a variety of duties in the Assembly area to assist with the production process. Duties may vary by individual assignment of tasks relevant to the skill level of each employee.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assemble and process products to customer specifications as shown on production travelers, job notes, blueprints, and other assembly instructions.
• Mark parts in accordance with the production traveler. This includes bag & tag, ink stamp, metal stamp and laser etch.
• Count, sort, and stack finished products. Pull parts for customer deliveries as directed by supervisor.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop environment.
• Assists in other departments as directed by the Production Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years experience in a Manufacturing/Assembly environment is required for this position.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the efficient manufacture of goods.
• 1 year experience reading and using blueprints in a Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
