We have an immediate opening for an energetic BILINGUAL OUTSIDE SALES PROFESSIONAL in the greater Pompano Beach area who is driven to capitalize on the tremendous potential in our growing South FL market including Broward, Dade, Palm Beach and Martin counties. Our ideal candidate is an adept B2B prospector and knows how to close new business. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN A RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE!
This is a rare ground-floor opportunity with tremendous potential to build a huge book of business in south FL as part of a company that's known for its family-oriented culture! Prior multi-family sales experience is a plus, but is not required.
COMPENSATION:
- Base/draw paid 2x/month
- Monthly allowance

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will focus on generating maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment industry in south FL / greater Pompano Beach by effectively selling flooring products and installation services in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach and Martin counties. Key responsibilities will include:
- Sustaining a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
- Demonstrating products and services to existing accounts and potential new customers, and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Providing all necessary information for each new account/customer.
- Providing floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates.
- Promptly addressing customer concerns, complaints and problems.
- Setting and achieving monthly and quarterly goals.
- Performing random job site inspections and reporting results to the Installation department.
- Maintaining an organized sample/showroom and sales office.
- Reporting to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the competitive landscape.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Coachable, with the willingness and ability to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve our customers and grow the business.
- Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Ability to comfortably deal with ambiguities, and to achieve goals while regularly functioning independently.
- Positively persistent customer focus - strives to partner with customers and add value to the relationship.
- Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.
- Ability to conduct business using various remote tools, as needed (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is a plus, but is not required.
- Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but is not required.
- A clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites within the assigned territory are essential requirements of the job.
