As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for gaining new business, assisting clients with their loan applications and guiding them through the loan process. Your expertise in financial sales and underwriting will be essential in making the client experience smooth and successful.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility based on underwriting guidelines
- Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess creditworthiness and risk
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend suitable loan products
- Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and repayment plans with clients
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws and regulations
- Work closely with escrow agents, title companies, and other parties involved in the loan process to ensure a smooth and timely loan closing
- Prospecting and calling company provided leads

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and guidelines
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and referral partners
