READS Collaborative is Hiring a Speech and Language Pathologist (fluent in American Sign Language - required) Near Norton, MA

This position is located in the READS Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (DHH) DHH Classrooms located in Norton Public Schools and Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational High School.Candidate will conduct comprehensive initial and 3 –year speech and language evaluations, for Deaf students and students with hearing loss, in ASL or preferred mode of communication; develop the evaluation report; share results and interpretation with families and school personnel; and consult as needed to staff and students of DHH program.Candidate will contribute to IEP development and implementation.Candidate will provide direct services to students in DHH in American Sign Language, spoken/written English or both according to their IEP.Candidate will supervise SLPAs according to ASHA guidelines.Candidate will provide professional development to staff and families as directed.
