READS Collaborative is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf to join our growing team of ToD providers. This position includes providing consultation and direct services for students who are deaf/hard of hearing in their home districts. The position entails providing itinerant services, consultation, and evaluations to local school districts in Southeastern, MA. Flexible hours and geographic catchment area.Qualified applicants will possess the ability to communicate in ASL with students and/or colleagues, the ability to meet the MA Teacher of the Deaf ASL proficiency requirements, and possess competency with special education documentation (IEPs, progress notes, evaluations, lesson plans, etc.).
MA in Deaf Education preferred. Eligible for MA DESE Licensure as Teacher of the Deaf/ASL.
