Looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our fast pace, fun, and family oriented practice.

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with a background in dermatology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care, conducting laboratory tests, taking vital signs, and assisting with minor medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and obtains chief compliant.
• Record patients’ medical and past medical history.
• Assists physician’s with biopsies, excisions, ED&C, cryotherapy, laser and cosmetic treatments.
• Performs suture removals, dressing changes, venipuncture and administration of injections.
• Medical Assistant will helps educate patients about procedures and treatment plan.
• Responds to patient’s requests for prescription refills, prior- authorization and clinical questions, under the provider supervision.
• Cleans and prepares exam rooms after every patient visit.
• Ensures that instruments are sterile.
• Receives dictation from physician to enter into EMR. etc...

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,723.00 - $35,174.00 per year
