POSITION: Product Manager, Sleep (Dublin, OH)
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full Time
LOCATION: Dublin, OH
React Health is a fast paced, growth oriented, manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment serving the respiratory, sleep and cardiology patients, caregivers, physicians, and providers. React Health sells and supports its product and services in the acute-care, non-acute and home medical equipment markets. React Health has built a model that combines manufacturing and distribution of products and services to meet the challenges of the undiagnosed as well as those needing therapies after diagnosis in the sleep and respiratory population.
GENERAL SUMMARY
As a product manager of sleep therapy devices, you will lead product managers while coordinating with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams. You will be responsible for developing the product requirements and roadmaps, as well as incorporating feedback from customers into the product strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • The position requires 4 years of experience in product management or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical or an equivalent experience in clinical industry.
  • Possesses systems for monitoring progress against goals.
  • Ability to analyze product category and report on business objectives.
  • Ability to assimilate data, recognize key variables and analyze computer situations.
  • Ability to work towards outcomes.
Preferred Education
  • Master’s degree in business or marketing, preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • In-depth experience with sleep therapy devices such as CPAPs and masks is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Marketing and/or healthcare experience or pharmaceutical sales background
  • Medical device

  • Business-to-business channel relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Physical Demands
  • Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
  • Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives. 
  • Required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. 
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.
Working Conditions
  • Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment.
  • Travel is required up to 25%
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Each Employee consistently demonstrates the following essential functions:
  • Product Champion: Developing in-depth customer, competitive and market knowledge.
  • Project Management: Be key administrator for the product development process by tracking and scheduling key projects to meet business objectives. Identify and coordinate cross-functional resources required and track progress. Clearly communicate requirements for desired outcome of project.
  • Planning: Develop, communicate, and implement strategic and operating plans.
  • Financial & Shipment Results: Understand profit and loss statement for business. Evaluate capital expenditures and earnings impact programs. Analyze business trends.
  • International: Evaluate international potential, distribution routes and product designs.
  • Distribution/Account Planning: Create and implement product and market strategies by customer segment.
  • Develop in depth training for sales. Develop strategies for distribution and buying groups. Develop major account planning in conjunction with sales. Attend account calls on an as needed basis.
  • Promotion/Advertising & Public Relations/Health Professional Relations Development: Create promotions / events to profitably grow the business. Establish advertising and public relations plan with Marketing services, if necessary.
  • New Products/Markets: Develop new products and markets working with R & D, Business Development, • Market Research, other divisions, and external resources.
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings. Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.
  • Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.
  • Attends all meetings, in-services training, or continuing education as delegated by the supervisor.
  • Provides customer focused interactions.
  • Performs all duties necessary for the department as per department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.
