Position Summary:
The IT Project and Inventory Coordinator will work with third party partners and internal resources to coordinate IT projects and inventory control. This position will work closely with the Director of Technology to develop the change and project management processes of the department. The IT Project and Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for the satisfactory performance of the following tasks and responsibilities.
  • Provide project management expertise to school staff and administration.
  • Coordinate all IT project management activities to include resources, equipment, and information.
  • Coordinate multiple IT projects through the entire life cycle and manage expectations.
  • Assist with creating the objectives and goals of IT projects and setting realistic timeframes.
  • Assist in analyzing project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead IT project meetings.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Consistently monitor IT projects costs, progress, and quality.
  • Coordinate the work of all project team members so workflow remains on schedule.
  • Work closely with applications and infrastructure teams to support enterprise level tasks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project timelines.
  • Serve as the central point of contact and communication lead for IT projects and inventory management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with third party partners, the Fulfillment team, and IT team members to manage and maintain IT equipment inventory levels.
  • Support inventory of computers and peripherals by compiling regular inventory status reports.
Education/Qualifications
  • Minimum Education/Certification:
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a technical field, project management, or other related field preferred.
    • Possess certification(s) in project management, process improvement, and/or inventory management preferred.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Two (2) or more years of experience in project coordination and/or project management preferred.
    • Two (2) or more years of experience of inventory management preferred.
    • Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience in an IT environment.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, effectively prioritizing and coordinating tasks.
  • Ability to create and maintain inventory reporting to anticipate ordering and refresh needs.
  • Ability to conceptualize and document system or process flows.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into project scopes and inventory levels.
  • Communicate effectively in customer friendly terms verbally and in writing.
  • Adept at inventory management in an integrated hybrid environment.
  • Ability to communicate project management concepts to technical or operational stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement and self-development attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the IT team.
Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Must reside in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to pass the background checks required for all school employees in Pennsylvania.
  • This position could include limited travel and could include limited overnight travel.
