For the Machine Operator position, you will be required to perform all necessary duties to operate horizontal and vertical oven insulating equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including general machine operation and production tasks, process checks, and all necessary quality tests.

Wages:

• The starting wage is $20.00. The top wage is currently $23.40.
• The average gross annual earnings range from $60,000 to $75,000. 
• Reviews are given every 90 days for an opportunity to earn a merit increase until you reach the top out rate.
• Benefits are offered after 30 days of employment: medical, dental, vision, life, 401k (match up to 4% each pay). 
• Overtime is offered after 40 hours, on Sundays, and for any fill-ins.
  • An average paycheck would include 84 regular hours and 20 overtime hours bi-weekly, without working outside of your regular schedule.
• Opportunity to change tiers of pay at 90 days of employment, based on attendance and performance.
  • If requirements are met, employees are then paid time and a half after 8 hours each shift and on Saturdays and Sundays. 
  • An average paycheck would then include 84 regular hours and 44 overtime hours bi-weekly, without working outside of your regular schedule.

Schedule:

• The schedule is a 2-2-3 swing rotation with 12-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (1st shift/days) for 6 weeks and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. (2nd shift/nights) for 6 weeks. 
• Employees only work half the year with this schedule and get the other half off, which allows for great work/life balance.
• A copy of our schedule is attached for your reference. Top line is AM and bottom line is PM. We have 4 shifts: A, B, C, & D.

Physical Demand:

The employee is frequently exposed to fumes, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the manufacturing site including high temperatures. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.

Work Environment:

The employee will occasionally be exposed to Cold Temperatures <55 degrees and Heat >100 degrees. The environment is well lit; The noise level in the environment is loud due to exposure and use of fork trucks, but employee may be exposed to higher than 85 decibels on occasion, hearing protection is required. Employee may be occasionally required to enter confined spaces

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
