Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

Department: Hauling

Reports to: Hauling Manager

Position: Non-exempt, non-remote, Hourly, Currently Full-time. 

Job purpose:

Spend the day out on the road while coming home and sleeping in your own bed each night. Rea Landscape Management is looking for a hard worker who is dedicated to safety, and can show up each day with a positive attitude. This position requires you to drive and operate dump trucks safely and efficiently while loading, unloading, and hauling fill material to and from pits, quarries and job sites.

Essential Job functions

• Conduct pre and post truck inspections.
• Pick up materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Filling out and submitting pick tickets to the hauling manager.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance
• Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
• Pass an initial drug and alcohol screen. Random drug and alcohol tests given throughout the year. 
• Comply with all DOT requirements

Required expertise and education

• 1 year of tri axel or quad axel dump truck driving or equivalent experience
• Current and valid commercial driver’s license CDL- A or B
