Full Job Description:

Facility: Level 1 teaching Hospital and Magnet® recognition for the fourth consecutive time. ANCC’s Magnet Recognition Program® distinguishes health care organizations that meet rigorous standards for nursing excellence. The coveted recognition is the highest national honor for professional nursing practice and requires re-designation every four years.

Overview:

• Travel PCU/Cardiac Step-Down Unit Registered Nurse needed for Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
• 50 mile radius (must have a permanent address outside 50 miles of the hospital)
• MUST HAVE previous travel experience
• MUST HAVE at least 2 years experience working in PCU/ Stepdown RN with Tele, Cardiology, or cardiac surgery experience
• AHA BLS, ACLS certifications required

Shift:

• 12 hours Rotation Schedule: or straight nights Self-Scheduling Manager driven with requests taken into consideration

Travel Pay Package (36 hour work week):

• $2150.00 Gross Weekly
• $20.00 an hour taxed
• $1430.00 weekly tax-free stipends ($947.00 for housing) ($483.00 for meals and incidentals)
• $500.00 travel allowance ($250.00 to assignment and $250.00 from assignment)

Must have:

• Must have at least minimum 2 years of PCU/ Stepdown RN with Tele, Cardiology experience.
• Must have Maryland or Compact Nursing License
• BLS, ACLS certifications required

Position:

• 10 rotating shift schedule or straight Night shift
• 13 week-26 week assignments with the possibility to extend longer
• Start Date June or July
