Job Description – Refugee Cash Assistance Program Assistant - Interfaith-RISE Reformed Church of Highland Park Affordable Housing Corporation

Position Description

The Refugee Cash Assistance Program Assistant supports the Refugee Cash Assistance program of Interfaith-RISE refugee resettlement program, a program of RCHP-AHC. This is a full time, 40 hour/week position located in Highland Park, NJ. This position reports to the RCA Director.

Responsibilities Include

· Assist with administrative and clerical tasks that support the smooth operation of the RCA program.

· Conduct regular data entry and data management tasks and ensure data consistency across various RCA platforms, including Client Track. Documentation includes approval documents, payment information (paystubs, EADs), employee email address (email address where clients can send paystubs), and sanctions correspondence.

· Act as the primary point of contact for the proper exit procedures for clients, including managing termination protocols, and case closure documentation

· Regularly review RCA spreadsheets and databases to guarantee accurate data transfer and uniformity.

· Ensure clients adhere to the 12-month RCA service guideline.

· Generate and distribute sanction notices, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and termination documents for all clients in the RCA program.

· Collaborate with the RCA Director and Manager to provide support in all areas of the RCA program as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organization and data collection skills. Experience working with diverse populations, including non-English speaking clients, and individuals from various faith, cultural, and social backgrounds. Ability to multi-task and creatively problem solve, and ability to work in a fast-paced and vibrant environment required. Ability to work independently.

COMPENSATION: This position is for 40 hours/week at a rate of $42,500 per year plus applicable benefits.

This position reports to the RCA Director.
