We are searching for a self-starting Electrical Engineer ready to hit the ground running to support a variety of ongoing efforts. These efforts span electrical loads analysis, complex harness design, analysis, and documentation, hands-on system wiring, troubleshooting efforts, printed circuit board design and a variety of related development tasks supporting satellite communications, telemetry, electronic warfare, and associated equipment. Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
· Working knowledge of RF and mixed signal
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as MS Word and Excel
· Must be able to work independently or with a team, handle the stress of multiple projects, changing schedules, and short suspense tasking
· Proficiency in DoD guidelines and standards, security procedures, testing protocols, and administrative standards
Preferred Qualifications:
·5 years experience n technology integration in the defense and aerospace field
·Working knowledge knowledge of a least one discipline of; circuit card design, RF, mixed signal design, electrical schematic and system design, or defense industry electrical engineering standards.
·Significant experience in airborne system integration activities
· Thorough understanding of the whole design lifecycle and ability to work outside core function
· Operational experience in the DoD Research, Development, Test and Evaluation community
· Progressive experience in technical and management of defense and aerospace technologies including RF technologies such as electronic warfare, telemetry, and ISR applications
Travel:
· Occasional travel, up to 25%, is required for this position. Travel will include customer and vendor visits in office/meeting environments as well as engineering support requirements which may include CONUS and OCONUS deployment aboard specialized RDT&E assets in support of customer requirements.
· Candidate must be capable of meeting FAA medical flight clearance requirements
Citizenship and Clearance:
· US Citizenship is required for this position
· Candidate must meet minimum eligibility requirements to obtain a US DoD Top Secret level security clearance
