Mission

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker.

The role of our Utility Workers is of great responsibility as they are tasked with ensuring that our Vehicle Fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards.

Additionally, our Utility Workers ensure that our vehicle fleet always looks its best. You represent our company to the community, and your attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.

Profile

Requirements for a Utility Worker

No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years. Must be able to complete and pass pre-employment performance evaluation.

Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, drug, and alcohol screening and background investigation and pre-employment assessments and tests

  • Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience.
  • All Applicants must possess a Current and Valid Driver's License
  • Must have an active CDL.
  • Must have a general knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl.

Responsibilities of a Utility Worker

  • cleaning, sanitizing, and washing the interior and exterior of each vehicle.
  • Responsible for reporting end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles.
  • Detail an agreed-upon number of vehicles per month.
  • Check and maintain all system fluids levels with oils, DEF, coolant, washer fluid.
  • Closing / locking the office and shop EOD.
  • Vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) fully stocked and functional
  • Detailed record keeping of services performed
  • Inspect and document fleet damage and communicate to the manager / supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, clean, teamwork area
  • Assist others as requested
  • Move vehicles safely between job and work area
  • Other duties assigned.
