Description

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary :

  • Cleaning interior and exterior of Transit Yard
  • Cleaning interior and exterior of Transit Station
  • Check and replenish all fluids
  • Cleaning interior and exterior of buses and support vehicles
  • Fueling buses
  • General cleanliness of all facilities, vehicles, and equipment including all bus stops
  • Maintain a safe, clean, teamwork area
  • Assist others as requested
  • Move vehicles safely between job and work area
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, team members, and client
  • Operate a fork lift
  • Actively participate in safety or educational training as required
  • Performance may be measured by the degree to which all grounds, facilities, and vehicles are clean and functioning in a safe and efficient manner

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 1 year of hands on experience or technical or vocational training required

Must obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License with required endorsements

Ability to work flexible and varied work schedules including late night, early morning, weekends, snow days, and holidays

Maintenance shop environment

Ability to lift 65 pounds

Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
