Rapid Oil Change is Hiring a Store Manager Near Odessa, TX

Store Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To manage the operations and employees ensuring efficiencies and customer service standards are met. This position will be required one to perform services on the floor 90% of the time and to perform administrative duties 10% of the time.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to the executive officers

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of managerial experience including 1 year of supervisory.
  • Willingness to complete, or completion of, the AOCA Certified Managers Course.
  • Exceptional time management skills are essential including the ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct and coordinate.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to read are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service and customer relations skills are essential.
  • Ability to provide appropriate technical communication to customers.
  • The ability to practice fairness and diplomacy as well as the ability to problem solve is essential. Bookkeeping and budgeting skills along with attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work in a professional environment.
  • Physical dexterity skills are required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.

JOB RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Performs all vehicle maintenance services while maintaining customer service standards.
  • Ensures that workmanship, service times and sales are at required levels or above by enforcing the operational procedures established by the company.
  • Ensures a safe working environment by practicing health and safety policies and procedures. Oversees maintenance on the building and equipment by ensuring everything is in proper working order.
  • Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality products, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
  • Communicates in a clear, concise manner via verbal or written form with management, store employees and customers to ensure comprehension
  • Takes an active role in warehouse, inventory, merchandising, marketing, and sales activities to provide an example for store employees and maintain familiarity with all phases of store operations. Stays current of industry trends through available resources and publications, share competitor news with executive officers and store employees.
  • Implements sales promotions as directed.
  • Facilitates monthly store meetings as required.
  • Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Maintains effective staff through effective recruitment and selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of all store staff.
  • Monitors activities of customer, personnel and store operations throughout the store, manage inquiries relating to store management and resolve operational problems that require immediate attention.
  • Enforces policies and procedures in verbal and written form and maintains accurate records in a secure, confidential manner.
  • Builds and maintain sound business relationships with employees, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Provide direction to department managers and delegate duties appropriate to skill and ability.
