Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for applying / managing customer invoices and payments, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process and review customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect outstanding balances.
• Prepare and reconcile customer statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and communications with customers.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.
• Perform periodic audits of customer accounts to identify potential errors or fraud.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree achieved or seeking in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Five years of proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable processes.
