Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator at Ranon Logistics Network you will play a critical role in our daily operations by safely and efficiently operating a forklift to transport materials and products within our facility. You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure the smooth flow of materials and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and transport materials, products, and supplies within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas using a forklift, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and balanced.
• Conduct pre-operational checks of the forklift, including inspecting for any damage or defects, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain and organize the warehouse, ensuring that materials are stored in designated locations and are easily accessible.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
• Keep accurate records of inventory movements, including documenting quantities, locations, and transactions.
• Participate in regular training and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.
• Assist in general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and assisting with inventory counts when needed.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with specific types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software.
• Basic computer skills.

Hours: Monday- Friday ( 9am-6pm)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
