R.A.N.K Quality Restaurants is a family owned and operated McDonald’s franchise located in the Ocala, Florida market. This family business has been proudly owned and operated by Andree and Kenneth Kocian for 20 years, the last 13 years of which have been in the great state of Florida.

Together, they have built a family business to include 9 McDonald’s restaurants.

We are seeking a motivated individual to be part of our Maintenance Division for our restaurants which will be a “ground floor” opportunity.

Facilities Assistant: FULL-TIME POSITION for McDonald’s Restaurants of Ocala, FL

  • Up to $25 an hour Commensurate with experience and certifications
  • Tuition Re-Imbursement up to $10k
  • Health insurance (Single) Telemedicine 10X per year for each member of the household
  • Work truck provided and/or Re-imbursement for private vehicle use
  • Two weeks paid vacation.
  • Monday-Friday schedule (weekend call emergencies only)

Qualifications:

  • U.S. work authorization (Required)
  • Clean, valid Driver’s License (Required- you must inform us if you have a suspended license for any reason)
  • HVAC/Refrigeration Certification – Minimum Type II- EPA Clean Air Section 608

Universal or higher certification. (Minimum -1 yr)

  • Plumbing & Electrical Experience (3 years Preferred)
  • General Carpentry/ Tile Experience (3 years Preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues, order necessary parts and effective repairs to get equipment back online and in use at the restaurants.

Job Description:

  • Organize, Schedule all weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections of all rooftop and interior equipment at our McDonald’s locations.
  • Develop and assist in training other members of the Maintenance team. Including Cleaning, repairing, and ordering of parts and assigning duties and following up of personnel.
  • Ensure all safety and OSHA guidelines are being adhered to by Maintenance Division personnel.
  • Ensuring certification of equipment or repair thereof with restaurant Supervisors or General Managers.
  • HVAC repair, monthly cleaning/inspection, rooftop cleaning/power-washing,

ice machines troubleshoot/repair/clean, clear drains, repair ceiling/floor tiles.

  • Must be able to diagnose equipment issues, order parts, effectuate repairs of equipment or facility including electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC/Exhaust Fans, Ice machines, and other equipment inside of McDonald’s restaurants. * Note that there are booklets that can be downloaded and 1-800 numbers for troubleshooting. While we will assist you with 1-800 numbers, you will have to be pro-active in the repair of equipment. Repairs can be made onsite, or equipment can be removed and brought to the warehouse for analysis and repair. It is expected that all equipment will also be cleaned thoroughly while in the repair stage and then brought back to the restaurant.
