Position SummaryAssists in the administration of HR functions, inclusive of employee records, talent acquisition, total rewards, and employee engagement.
This position can be either part time or full time, depending on the applicant. Minimum hours for part time will be 20 hours per week. A set schedule will be required, however there is some flexibility in start and end times, along with days of the week to be worked.
Work location will be at our Front St branch in Marquette.
Primary ResponsibilitiesHRIS
  • Maintains employee records and processes.
  • Assists with payroll process, including but not limited to reviewing time cards, approving tax changes and direct deposit adjustments.
Talent Acquisition
  • Enter open positions into recruiting program and post to appropriate recruiting sources. Work with appropriate department staff to monitor and assist with the hiring process
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation process of all new employees and internal transfers.
Total Rewards
  • Processes monthly vendor invoices for HRIS, insurances, COBRA, FSA, etc
  • Answers employee benefit questions related to life events, use of their benefits, and open enrollment events
  • Coordinates anniversary checks and other employee recognition/reward related items.
Employee Engagement
  • Promote a positive work environment and actively participate in employee committees relative to Range Bank’s culture and training.
Compliance
  • Participate in training and education to stay up to date with federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Minimum Requirements
  • 1 year administrative experience or some college in related field
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential personnel documentation
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
