Responsibilities

• Directing associates in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Assisting associates in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions of machinery and equipment
• Directing workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery
• Maintaining adequate parts inventory, including critical spare parts.
• Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance work schedules
• Maintaining maintenance records to provide historical database of machine performance and repair
• Working with Operations and Engineering management to develop, recommend, and implement changes to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Reducing down-time
• Recommending to Operations management when outside contractors are required. Manage contractors once engaged for duration of work assignment
• Fulfilling the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position
• Ensuring that all building and facility maintenance issues are handled; to include HVAC, fire protection,and security systems
• Maintaining all required human resource activities to include recruitment, coaching, counseling, performance management, and employee development
• 8 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance, HVAC manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5 years' experience in managing personnel in a department setting

The essential functions of this role include :
