Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as the metal fabricating machine tools
• Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment necessary for the production
• Coordinate with managers and other personnel to schedule maintenance work
• Provide technical assistance
• Inspect equipment and machinery to recommend repair and replacement
• Estimate material costs and time of repair
• Understands ISO 9001:2000 policies and record keeping pertaining to work area
• Train team members on predictive maintenance equipment when needed
• Complete emergency maintenance work promptly
• Read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work orders
• Use Lock Out/Tag Out while repairing equipment
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience and/or education in Maintenance is required
• Considerable knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in production
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• May be required to stand for long periods
• May engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds up to 1/3 of the time
• Strong attention to detail
