Randstad Healthcare is hiring a Medical Assistant for a reputable community clinic in West River, MD. This is a permanent position with an ASAP start date.
Full job description
- Back Office Medical Assistant
- Community Clinic setting
- Perform clinical duties including but not limited to: ear irrigations, hearing and vision testing, glucose testing, drug screens, urine screens and EKGs
- Keep exam rooms stocked with medical supplies
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, document EHR and maintain all logs
- Triage patients
- Deliver care and communicate in a professional manner
- Assist with medication authorization, as well as DME and imaging.
- Follow HIPPA guidelines and Code of Conduct policy
Requirements
- CPR certification
- Can float to 3 AA County locations
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Detail oriented and accurate
Hours
- 8am - 5pm - Monday thru Friday
Pay Rate: 19-23
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
