Our client, a global leader in the investment management industry, has an immediate contract opening for a Senior Enterprise UX Product Designer. This role will be located in downtown Los Angeles and is required to be onsite 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have expert level knowledge and experience in information design, visualization design: Demonstrated command of data vis best practices.

o Understand and synthesize user needs for a complex, multi-layered, data-oriented enterprise application, based on research conducted by product team

o Organize and conduct and supplemental research as necessary, in collaboration with product team

o Define information architecture and interaction model

o Conduct usability testing

UI design:

o Contribute to UI design system, including component definition, typography, iconography, and color system

o Design data visualizations

Skills and experiences:

Expert - information design, visualization design: Demonstrated command of data vis best practices.

strong - Interaction design: Demonstrated command of enterprise app interaction patterns.

strong - information architecture: A systems thinker, knowledge of IA testing and validation methodologies

Capable - Prototyping: Command of one or more prototyping tools

Capable - Visual design: Demonstrated command of atomic design principles, typography/color/visual hierarchy/etc. in an enterprise app context.

Capable - UX strategy/research: Usability testing experience

Preferred: experience with financial data applications
