JOB DETAILS:

The position requires a strong ability to program with SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, basic performance tuning, Unix/Shell scripting, and other related software development support tools.

• Candidate must have a strong demonstrated ability to support data analysis within large/complex operational systems and a familiarity with relational modeling.
• Agile development team experience, strong configuration management skills, and ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment are also highly desired.
• Candidates must possess advanced problem-solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format.
• You must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.
• Team consists of about 10-12 people with one manager and one lead.
• This role will not have anyone reporting in.

Required Skills:

• Primary Skill - Oracle SQL / PLSQL

Experience:

• strong ability to program with SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, basic performance tuning, Unix/Shell scripting, and other related software development support tools
• strong demonstrated ability to support data analysis within large/complex operational systems and a familiarity with relational modeling
• SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 12c/19c, Oracle RAC, OLTP
• Proficiency with Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Materialized Views, Sequences, DB Objects
• Proficiency with SQL query tuning, partitioning, performance optimization, indexing
• Proficiency with DB schema and table design, logical/physical design, normalization/denormalization
• Ability to analyze various Oracle reports like SQL trace, tkprof , tuning advisor, ADDM etc and suggest improvements
• Experience with Extract-Transform-Load ETL processes
• Experience with Source Control: BitBucket/GIT, Subversion (SVN), Perforce, or similar
• Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development

Deal Breakers:
