Randall Construction Prefabrication department is currently seeking top-tier Welder / Pipefitters to work in our Shop in Apopka, FL .

Position Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for Welders / PipeFitters located in Apopka, FL. The Welders / Pipe Fitters will be responsible forwelding and fitting pipes to specifications, examining work product for defects,and ensuring conformance with specifications.

Essential Functions

Fit and Weld steel pipes for plumbing / mechanical applications.

Desired Qualification Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
• Must be able to pass a brief verbal pipe fitters test during interview.
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010 / 7018) welding
• Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
• Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME Power Piping
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication : Effective English or Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) verbal and writtencommunication skills are a must have.
• Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinaryteams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectivesand project success.
• Safety : Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures,and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and standon your feet for several hours at a time. , be able to respond quicklyto sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personalprotective gear.
