Ramen Tatsu-Ya is hiring for Front of House staff members! This is a tipped position plus the hourly wage.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
• Distributes menus and presents any daily specials
• Answers questions regarding the menu
• Receives food & beverage orders for accurate communication to the kitchen via Toast
• Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
• Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
• Buss tables
• Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing tableware and condiments
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be 18 years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya location
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Toast knowledge is preferred but not required

Experience:

• Previous experience as a server preferred
• Must successfully complete state required certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
