Ramapo for Children is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Rhinebeck, NY

We are seeking a driven individual to provide administrative support to Ramapo for Children’s varied programs, including our residential camp. This position is essential to the day-to-day operations of the campus office and will include assisting with office coordination, communicating with families and stakeholders, and managing registration systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update camper and staff databases accurately and efficiently.
  • Professionally answer and screen incoming phone calls, providing information as required.
  • Manage camp registration, including receiving, processing, and confirming camper applications.
  • Assist parents with registration inquiries, payment processing, and any required documentation.
  • Prepare and send out mailings, including recruitment flyers and information packets.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, distributing it to the appropriate recipients.
  • Provide general clerical support to the camp office, including creating folders and filing, assisting with the copier and postage machine, and maintaining office supply inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a camp or educational setting.
  • Proficiency in database management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative nature and interest in working as part of a diverse community of individuals.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
