CANDIDATE PREREQUISTES:

• Continue to network with our current clients while searching for new potential clients and oversee hotel sales and marketing strategies.
• Sell and detail Corporate Groups, Wedding Room Blocks, Reunions and other Social Event Room Blocks.
• Handle incoming sales calls and conduct property tours with potential customers.
• Maintain an organized filing system of accounts and complete all necessary sales paperwork.
• Oversee and coordinate the banquet function before turning the information over to our Banquet Manager to run and manage the event.
• Reaches out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel for conferences and events .
• Networks with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage hotel bookings.
• Designs and advertises special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
• Processes payments, addresses and resolves any issues or complaints regarding sales or marketing.
• Ensures that guests are enjoying their stay at the hotel and that large group needs are met.
• Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Outgoing, friendly, enjoys meeting people, enjoys making people happy
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills and detail oriented
• Demonstrable social media networking experience and social media analytics tools knowledge
• Fluency in English

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
