Rally Point Management is Hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Near Eglin AFB, FL

JOB Title: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Sunny Northwest Florida

Position Description:

Rally Point Management, LLC is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISS) to support advanced program operations in sunny Northwest Florida. You can live in the spectacular area of Destin and Ft. Walton Beach, while supporting Eglin Air Force Base Electronic Warfare (EW) missions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration, assurance and maintenance of critical and unique communication system networks used to process advanced program classified information
  • Prepare and update system certification and accreditation (C&A) packages
  • Make sure all users have proper security clearances and authorizations to operate on the networks
  • Support the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to updated or modify hardware and software on the networks
  • Develop and update system security plans (SSP)
  • Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to verify compliance with policy
  • Develop and update the security system control traceability matrix (SCTM)
  • Verify communication systems are maintained, operated, reviewed and disposed of in accordance with policy
  • Manage and coordinate changes to system hardware and software in accordance with ISSM guidance and policy
  • Verify system backup and recovery capability are operating properly
  • Conduct and/or manage audits and maintain records in accordance with policy
  • Verify all system users are informed and have access to system security policies
  • Develop and manage program to create, destroy and track media
  • Maintain records of all classified information systems, the sensitivity of the information and the volume of information
  • Support various information systems security tasking from the ISSM

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have or be able to gain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Require a minimum 5 years of experience with information systems security systems
  • Require current DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification or obtain certification within 3 months of hiring
  • Familiarization with Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) highly desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and how to effectively utilize the provided features
  • Familiarization with current government computer systems security policy and procedures
  • Gain and maintain standard industry recognized IT certifications relating to system security
  • Prefer bachelor's degree in computer field or associates degree in computer related discipline with relevant experience
  • Ability to manage the varied tasks associated with multiple projects, prioritize, thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely
  • Prefer strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to work as a cohesive team member
