**Description**
Shifts will vary; medical center is open 7 days a week, including holidays
* Be a part of a team that prepares menu items, primarily from scratch, according to daily production needs for patients and customers
* Responsible for attaining knowledge to perform functions of the position, including inventory management, food waste reduction and creativity in food presentation
* Responsible for holding high standards for food quality
* Assist in training of new employees within the production area
* Responsible for following and maintaining all HACCP regulations for food safety and sanitation
**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Previous cooking / culinary experience
* Possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers and associates
* Follow guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment cleaning at all times
* Prepare food items, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines
* Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift - up to 50 pounds
* Possess excellent knife skills, attention to detail, cleanliness when working
* Food Handler's Certificate required
* ServeSafe Certification required (internal training offered)
* Drug screen and background check required
