About the Role

Rainfocus seeks a development intern to assist in crafting web applications and automated test applications for quality assurance testing. The objective is to bolster our development teams, enhance test automation stability, and elevate the quality of our development process. This role will be project-centric, aligning with the agile methodology.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our core product set with a focus on usability, security, and scalability
• Work closely with development teams to write and maintain automated Selenium tests for new and existing features
• Perform manual exploratory testing of web-based software and mobile applications

• Currently enrolled in a Software Development related major in a College or University
• 1 or more years of software development experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience peer reviewing code while providing feedback and improvements
• Experience in Object-Oriented design and programming
• In-depth browser knowledge including developer tools

• Experience with Java, C , C#, Python or Javascript
• Experience creating automated tests
• Experience with front-end development using Javascript frameworks
• Experience integrating with 3rd party systems via APIs
• An understanding of agile methodology
