Infant Caregivers: Rainbow Playschool is a Licensed Child Care Center in Woodstock, VT looking for friendly and warm Infant Caregivers with a passion for child development and the outdoors to join our Team.

Full Time or Part Time Schedules- $16-$20/hr depending on formal education and related experience.

The ideal candidate is someone who is nurturing, professional, and experienced in similar roles. Flexibility is key, as well as attentive and high-quality care for infants aged 2 months to 18 months. Infant Room Caregivers will be responsible for full care of the infants, including but not limited to maintaining hygiene, bottle and meal preparation and feeding, diapering, sanitizing bottles, infant laundry, play time and activity time, organization of materials and baby’s items, and communicating needs of child and daily routine to parents.

Responsibilities.

• Nurturing and guiding the development of our children.
• Classroom management.
• Providing direction and working in tandem with an assistant teacher.
• Providing consistent reports and answering questions for our parents.
• Bringing a creative, energetic personality and working with staff and students cheerfully.
• Complete at least 24 hours of professional development yearly.

Requirements:

• Have either already completed a College Level Course in Early Childhood Education, Human Growth & Development, or related field ~OR~ Within first year of employment, complete the course Fundamentals ECE
• Support and Mentorship for further education will be provided.
