This position reports directly to the Executive Director. This position requires a person with the confidence to speak to large and small groups regarding our agency history and our future in the community. Below is a small portion of the responsibilities of the Development Director.
Fundraising and Special Events
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field with emphasis in development and/or marketing; two years' experience in the field of not-for-profit agency development. Candidates who have worked in the field in an apprenticeship role or who have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the above-stated duties and responsibilities and who have worked in a not-for-profit agency for two years will be equally considered.
