Our focus has been and will continue to be new oncology therapeutics based on targeting the biological drivers of the cancer, regardless of tumor type.
We are seeking an onsite Manager of Information Technology (IT) to support Rain’s operation and growth. The role will manage the day-to-day activities for Service Desk and IT Operations functions, and will support IT Security, IT G&A, IT R&D, IT Commercial functions as needed. Duties will include supporting onboarding/offboarding users, access management, technical support, system administration, infrastructure administration, and IT projects as needed. Excellent communication skills and a track record supporting IT systems of increasing complexity are desired. The ability to understand and respond to the needs of a wide variety of users is paramount. This is a very hands-on role providing support to our Newark office. The role will report to the Director, IT.
Critical Job Skills:
Manage the onboarding and offboarding of user accounts
Manage the access management process
Manage technical support process for Rain IT systems including troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to IT systems.
Provide support to our on-site and remote employees. Ensure issues reported by employees are resolved in a timely manner
Support IT system upgrades, configurations, maintenance, new installations and migrations, and establish timeframes for major IT initiatives
Support and Manage Cloud infrastructure and systems as needed.
Support and manage on site IT infrastructure including Servers, Appliances, Firewalls, Switches, WiFi access points, and Conferencing equipment.
Support Corporate Systems, such as Email, Productivity tools, Shared Storage, Collaborations tools, Project Management tools, Training platforms, and Electronic Signature systems.
Support IT G&A, IT R&D and IT Commercial systems as needed.
Support technical needs of the laboratory and laboratory instruments as needed.
Support and maintain compliance of IT systems with applicable regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPR, SOX and FDA CFR Part 11, as well as IT-related SOPs
Support and lead certain IT projects as appropriate.
Required and Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex corporate IT environment
Working knowledge of IT systems including computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Superior customer service skills and ability to communicate technical concept to non-technical users
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite, Google Workspace, Box, DocuSign, and Okta is desired
Experience in biopharmaceuticals or medical devices is highly desirable
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $147,000- $168,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on objective considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. An annual cash bonus and equity grants may be provided as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to a full range of financial, health and wellness benefits, dependent on the position offered.
