We are very pleased to announce that Ragle, Inc. is now looking for a highly motivated, hardworking Junior Cost Accountant. In this position, you will be a liaison between the project management and accounting team. To thrive in this critical role, you should be a team player and a problem-solver who would enjoy building relationships throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and ensure accuracy of all job costs through daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews with Project Management teams
• Provide project support by monitoring budgets established by project management and performing cost allocations, reallocations, corrections, or change orders
• Research costs to ensure the accuracy of the information in the company’s accounting system
• Complete cost code audits as necessary to verify correct job costs
• Identifying and reporting any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review
• Assist management in making critical business decisions to aid in profitability
• Support the company's financial objectives by providing financial analysis
• Evaluate changing trends to form profitable accounting strategies
• Attend project meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or construction preferred
• 1 years of experience in construction cost accounting preferred
• Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with team members throughout the organization
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Have good communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Construction knowledge preferred
