RaganSmith is Hiring a Licensed Land Surveyor Near Nashville, TN

Description

RaganSmith is seeking a full-time Licensed Land Surveyor in our Nashville office. This position is responsible for managing survey projects and providing support for various engineering work in both public and private sectors. This role will serve as a key member of the team and serve as a subject matter source for survey staff in training.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and oversee control, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys 
  • Present data to clients and prepare reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information
  • Collaborate and work with project managers, crews, and government agencies when necessary
  • Additional related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 
  • PLS license or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Surveying or technical degree with surveying course work preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under project deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work closely in a team environment
