RadNet is Hiring a Remote Payment Optimization Analyst, Revenue Cycle Systems

JOB SUMMARY
The Payment Optimization Analyst, Revenue Cycle Systems will play a critical role in maximizing revenue and optimizing
payment processes within RadNet. The primary responsibilities include analyzing, optimizing, and managing RadNet's
payment systems and processes to maximize efficiency and enhance financial performance. This role requires a high
level of technical expertise, as well as strong communication skills and collaboration with various departments to ensure
smooth payment operations. The goal of the position is to improve the patient experience by identifying payment
trends, implementing strategies to enhance financial performance by offering user-friendly payment options and
streamlining the payment posting and reconciliation process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work directly with the merchant (TSYS), payment application (Imagine Pay), RIS (eRAD), and billing system
(Imagine Billing) vendors to optimize and configure payment workflows
  • Ability to reconcile payment transactions and provide reporting on payment activity
  • Ownership of Imagine Pay user setup
  • Key player for payment projects such as time of service integration, payment plans, card on file, pre-authorized
payments, and patient engagement
  • Coordinate setup and monitoring of Payment QA and Test Environments. Develop a support model for
reporting and triaging payment system issues
  • Communicating with stakeholders: Must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including
senior RCO management, RC systems staff, and end-users. This involves providing regular updates on project
status for payment initiatives
  • Oversee upgrades to the existing Imagine Pay system. Identify areas that will benefit RadNet and coordinate
testing
  • Utilize data analytics tools to access payment trends and performance
  • Identify and recommend technology solutions or software enhancements to improve payment efficiency
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized payment optimization protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal payment policies
  • Monitor and mitigate payment-related risks, such as fraud or errors
  • Maintain documentation of payment processes and policies
  • Stay current on healthcare industry changes, payer regulations, and billing guidelines affecting radiology
services.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Advanced experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) with a focus on time-of-service payments and
payment merchant integration
  • Imagine Pay administration, integration, and reporting experience is preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a radiology systems management or advanced support role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Basic understanding of database systems and SQL
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills are a must to interact with a diverse base of individuals, including executives,
technical, professional, and office staff members as well as national resources.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with all employees, customers, and vendors.
  • High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem determination and resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and meet work schedules within limited time frames and under tight
deadlines.
  • Ability/flexibility to travel to/between sites as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting reaching with hands and arms, using hands and
fingers, handling, constant talking, hearing, speaking, and listening. Visual acuity to read computer screens and written
materials. The position requires the ability to travel (~10% of the time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of
transportation.
