Radius is a relaxed brewpub in downtown Emporia serving up a rotating list of house brewed beers to match the elevated bar style menu of brick-oven fired pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. A rotating entree menu is available every evening and there is a full bar featuring classic cocktails, mocktails, and house favorites for those looking for something other than beer.

Open Positions: Host, Server, Bartender

Positions Report to: General Manager

Host Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers as they enter and exit the restaurant
• Manage the waitlist at the front desk and over the phone
• Oversee table assignments, availability, and capacity
• Show guests to their seats
• Keep a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by managers and owners

Server Responsibilities include:

• Being a primary point of contact for servers
• Providing information about daily specials and promotions
• Being an expert on the menu, sometimes making recommendations
• Communicating with the kitchen staff
• Serving food and alcoholic beverages
• Having knowledge about our beers
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience
• Keeping a clean and sanitary work environment
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by managers and owners

Bartender Responsibilities include:

• Gaining an extensive knowledge of our product offerings, especially the beer
• Maintain conversation with guests
• Make drinks for your guests as well as for the entire restaurant
• Mix and pour alcoholic beverages
• Serve responsibly and follow state guidelines
• Clear and clean glassware
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Requirements:

• Wearing and maintaining the company uniform and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work and remain composed in a fast and fun environment!
• Ability to handle money responsibly and accurately.
• Multiple Shifts are available but daytime shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
