Key Responsibilities
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the service brand behavior, genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations

-Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
-Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
-Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
-Performs other duties as required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality

Maintains a well-stocked, clean cafeteria for hotel employees

-Prepares and serves all food products as needed, insuring proper plate presentation
-Transports food from preparation area to cafeteria for timely set-up
-Maintains coolers, salad bars, steam table milk machine, coffee machine and tables at acceptable levels of sanitation and organization at all times
-Stocks dishware, silverware, cups, condiments and other items as needed
-Checks and maintains coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity and quality of food products
-Requisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy
-Takes proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment

Requirements/Skills

-Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
-Knowledge of proper food handling
-Follows instructions and communicates effectively
-Works well independently or as part of a team
-Strong attention to detail
-Commitment to exceptional guest service
-Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
-Adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel

Physical Demands

-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds;.
-Must possess a team spirited attitude and a willingness to help;
-Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests;
-Ability to retain and give general hotel information;
-Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction;
-Ability to stand and exert well paced mobility for an eight (8) hour shift;
