MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST SIGN ON BONUS!

Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee imaging organization seeks a full time Float Mammography Technologist II to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent imaging skills.

The candidate must be able to travel to multiple sites in Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:45 AM to 5 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
• Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
• Must be certified and proficient in Breast Sonography
• Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality Mammography examinations.
• Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferred
• Superior communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, always putting the patient first
• Must be able to manage time in a productive manner within the guidelines of the department
• Certification in Breast Sonography 

Qualifications:

• The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Must be certified in mammography, possess ARRT credentials and a current Arizona State Licensure
• Breast ultrasound experience helpful. Training will be provided as well as in breast biopsy procedures if needed.
